Mission Statement
Ithaca Carshare is a locally controlled carshare service that enhances community access to transportation while reducing its negative environmental and economic impacts. They provide members 24/7 self-serve access to a growing fleet of vehicles which includes fuel-efficient hatchbacks, a minivan, and a pickup truck. To use vehicles, members simply make reservations online or through the automated phone system, and then access the vehicles at one of our pickup locations around Ithaca using a personal keyfob. Ithaca Carshare offers a reduced price Easy Access membership plan for income-eligible members. Both Cornell University and Ithaca College offer membership discounts to their students and employees. Business and Organizational plans are also available.
